Metchosin is a serene community located in the Westshore, 20 minutes from Westcoast Adventure College in Sooke.
Metchosin is a community with winding rural roads, cultivated acreages, seaside homes, regional parks and small farms.
Visiting Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park is a must as it curves gently along the Strait of Juan de Fuca, offering commanding views of the Olympic Mountains in Washington. Enjoy glimpses of wildlife along the shallow sandy beach which makes for pleasant warm water swimming.
A picturesque lake and beach set against forested hills, Matheson Lake Regional Park is another popular destination. On a hot summer day, this is the perfect place for a dip and a picnic.
Grab a bite to eat at My Chosen Cafe, famous for it’s fresh made pizza and old time country atmosphere. Or enjoy locally produced fresh fruit, vegetables and homemade delicacies at the Farmer’s Market running May to October.
If quiet rural living is what you’re looking for, Metchosin is the place for you!
